The Gottschalk’s department store that was an anchor at this mall has been demolished; a new fourteen-screen theater is set to be built in the area formerly occupied by the store.
Since 2011, this theater has been known as the Destiny 12 after it was sold by Destinta in 2011. It was declared by Hamilton Township officials to be unsafe for human occupancy and closed at least temporarily on Dec. 21, 2012. View article. It had apparently been running as a discount operation.
