Looking for LA Conservancy - Broadway Historic Theatres Walking Tour Ticket for Saturday, May 3rd
I’m going to be visiting LA from NYC from May 2nd through 10th (flying out on the morning of the 10th) and was hoping to include the LA Conservancy – Broadway Historic Theatres Walking Tour as part of my agenda on Saturday, May 3rd, but found out via the Conservancy website that the tour for that date is sold out. Does anyone know if the LA Conservancy offers a waiting/stand-by list?

Suggestions for single-screen theater documentary
I am going to be making a documentary this summer about the remaining single screen movie theaters left in Indiana still in operation (showing movies.) I was awarded a Lilly endowment for my teacher creativity proposal of $8,000.
I plan to buy a Hi-Def video camera and a laptop / software to edit the footage, and the rest of the money will be spent traveling the state to visit the theaters, interview the historians, owners & patrons. Any suggestions, contact info, etc would be greatly appreciated.

Help on theater info
Hi everyone,
I’m currently a projectionist at a local movie theater in Memphis, TN. I love my job but since everything is going digital, I don’t know if I’m going to have a job.
I really would love to own my own theatre but I don’t know where to start. I’d even be co-owner of a theatre if anyone knows anyone in the Tennessee area who wants to go in on it.
Please contact me.
Thanks -

Chief Theatre question
KENOSHA, WI — I am working on a project about theaters in Kenosha and would be very grateful to receive any information at all about the Chief. I know it was operating in the 1940’s but can’t find out anything else. Information about its capacity and location would be especially welcome.

Booking question
A question about multiplexes: Does someone there know this?:
How does a large multiplex devise its movie-starting-times schedule? Seems like an intensive task, with a large number of screens and a 12-14 hour day.
Do they use a computer, a manually-adjusted chart, or what? If it’s a computer, what’s the program name?
Thanks very much.

Question For New York Film/Theatregoers
Does anyone have a full detailed list of films shown in New York cinemas from 1995 to 2007? I would look this stuff up myself but I am probably 1,500 miles away. The public library’s Times microfilm only goes to 1994 and I don’t have $3,000 to get that home archive system. Please help me, New York filmgoers.
