According to Al Lienhardt who is the son of the Glarus Theatre’s builder and operator, his father’s parents operated a theater in the New Glarus Hotel. That might be the one you are referencing.
The theater is now operated by the Mackinac Arts council as the Center for the Arts. Films are shown twice a week during the summer.
