After losing his lease and closing the waterfront Boulevard Cinema in 2010, Paul Peterson moved his operation into a renovated warehouse space a mile away. It was named HMG’s (Hoagies, Movies and Games)Silver Cinema to reflect the offerings available.

The cinema is located in a combination video and game rental store, also containing a party room. Films are shown in digital with digital sound. Food served, beside the usual popcorn and candy, includes hoagie sandwiches and fries, and poutine.
