This theatre opened September 1975 as the Tablerock Twin Cinema seating 476. The exterior is a white stucco with a red shingled wood overhang along the front of the building. It has a small V marquee in the middle of the front above the overhand. In 1986 it was expanded to 4-screens. Nova Cinemas took over operations in 1996 with a slight clean up and some fresh paint. The Branson 4 Movies closed as a movie theatre in early-2005. A shot time later it reopened as a live theatre renamed Nova Theatre.
From early-2007 it was renamed God and Country Theatres.

This theatre no longer shows films. It’s just live entertainment, like Branson mostly is. I believe the final film they showed was “The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy”. Notable: on May 16th, 2002, Star Wars:Episode II was screened on all four screens.
This theatre originally opened as a twin back in maybe 1975. I remember watching a kids movie then going over to Jaws while waiting for my dad’s shift to end (he was a projectionist there before we moved).
The name of this theatre should be changed to God & Country Theatres. It is a live venue only. website
This theater first opened as the “Table Rock Twin Cinema” in September 1975 as a twin with a capacity of 476 seats. It was first operated under the manager of Dennis Schafer, a local resident. The theater expanded to four screens in 1986, renaming it the “Table Rock Cinemas 4”. In early 1999, the theater was renamed “Branson Movies 4” after being taken over by Dickinson Theatres.
The theater was later taken over by Nova Theatres and later by Goodrich Quality Theatres. Goodrich last operated the theater, before the Branson Movies 4 closed for the final time on May 16, 2002 with “Star Wars: Episode II” playing in all four auditoriums as a stunt.
Correction: I made a huge mistake! The Branson Movies 4 continued running movies until early 2005, and closed its doors as a movie theater at that same time. It reopened as a live performance theater a short time later as the “Nova Theatre”, and in early 2007, it changed its name to the “God and Country Theatres”.
Correction: It was last operated by Nova Cinemas. Nova took over from Goodrich a few years later after purchase.
The Tablerock Twin Cinema started life as a locally-owned theater, but in mid-1977, the Dickinson Theatres chain (who also operated both the Owen Theatre and the Shepherd Of The Hills Drive-In) leased the theater and purchased the firm in 1979.
The Tablerock Twin Cinema expanded to a four-screen theater on June 1, 1985 after Dickinson added two more 200-seat auditoriums in the west side of the building, bringing a grand total to 876 seats, and became known as the Tablerock Cinema 4.
