News About This Theater
- Nov 25, 2009 — Branson Meadows Cinemas reopen
- Oct 2, 2009 — Branson Meadows Cinema closes
The Branson Meadows Cinema 11 opened in 2000 by the Nova Cinema chain and seats 1,842. A large lobby with a cover around the lobby with replica film strips frunning all around the coves. Very eye catching with the stars of the past and the present in the film strips. There is a game alcove on the left side of the lobby. A Central concession area with four serving stations. All stadium seating. The auditoriums leave a lot to be desired as for as decor is concerned though They are really drab with brownish grey draperies lining the walls and the seats are much the same in color with a tweed like pattern.
The Branson Meadows Cinema 11 was closed on September 24, 2009, with “GI Joe” and “Time Travellers Wife” being two of the last films to be screened. However, it was purchased by new owners, Itec Attractions, and reopened on November 21, 2001.

Not a bad theatre at all. The projection isn’t that great, but the seats are comfy and the sound systems and Stealth Cinema (nothing to do with the crappy movie “Stealth”) environment may for a great experience. I’ve seen “The Bourne Supremacy”, “Alien vs. Predator”, “The Aviator” and “The Greatest Game Ever Played” in this theatre. The fourth visit wasn’t as good as the first three (picture framing incorrect, sound went out a few times), but when a big film plays, like the first three, it’s a well-worth experience.
On that sound going out, it was only on one side, not both.
Recently I saw Atonement here and realized how small the auditoriums are. The screen was also in a 2:1 ratio and caused the 1.85:1 film not of fill up the screen.
This theater has reopened under new management as of November 21, 2009. Story here: View link
