Located in the centre of Lower Hutt, near the Southern tip of North Island. Built in 1906 as a skating rink. It was converted into the King George Theatre in 1910. It was remodelled in 1930 and was, operated by Kerridge-Odeon by 1946. It was closed on 24th April 1974 and was demolished on 26th May 1974. Retail shops now occupy the site.

Replaced by Odeon Theatre built on same site sitting atop a shopping mall open 1975 with “The Slipper & The Rose”.
