Classic Showcase style. All parking in back. It was opened on October 24 1980 with 6-screens. It was an 8-screen theatre by 1984 and 10-screens by 1988. On November 17, 1989 it expanded to 14-screens. It was closed on September 3, 2007 and was demolished in January 2016.

shame.. would make great 2nd run theatre but water damage and lack of care have this building in shape where whoever buys it will need to demolish it.
To be competitive, this cinema needs a major overhaul. It may be cheaper to tear it down and start over. NCG chose to reopen the nearby 6-screen Courtland Cinemas because it was the right size and didn’t need much work before reopening.
This closed cinema is now boarded up.

On October 24th, 1980, Showcase Cinemas opened with six screens. Construction strikes caused the opening to be postponed. 2-page grand opening ad posted.
