This theater was converted into an office building under the name of “Best Theatre Building” There is multiple suites inside this building for stores and restaurants.
After the theater closed, it was converted into a coffee place for college students called The Hangout, which held many concerts inside. The Hangout closed down sometime in 2010. It is now used as Edinboro Outdoors.
This theater has been recently demolished in 2023, they’re planning on demolishing the entire Westland Mall but for right now they’re only doing the outparcels.
The Super 19 was closed due to the construction of Interstate 90 which was built on the right of the Drive-In. The owner decided not to move the drive-in and just permanently close the theater down in 1959. The land later became a Howard Johnson’s and a trailer park. Now the land has many restaurants and a Walmart Supercenter built where the trailer park once was.
