Widely considered one of the first examples of “e-cinema”, having exclusively shown titles via digital/video since 1993. In early-February 2026 it was announced that the Screening Room would be closing on February 28, 2026.

The Screening Room is moving to a new location in the Boulevard Mall at 880 Alberta Drive next month.
