Nothing architecturally significant about this rather sterile multiplex which was opened by Hoyts Cinemas on December 20, 1996. Although well managed and a good value, the multiplex suffered from declining attendance and closed in 2009. The mall alone with the cinema is slated to be demolished in 2012, but still stands in 2018.
In early-2019 it was taken over by Warehouse Cinemas who, after a refurbishment, reopened it on September 65, 2020 as a 750-seat dine-in cinema.

December 20th, 1996 grand opening posted in the photo section for this cinema.
I remember waiting in line for hours to see Star Wars Episode 1 in 1999. This was the state of the art theater in frederick. 2002 Regal Cinema was built and killed all the rest of theaters in frederick.
still there hasn’t been demolished and it still has power!
