tlantic City’s Steel Pier amusement park is reportedly on the market for $85 million with the possibility of expansion touted as an enticement for interested buyers.
The oceanfront property, located on the boardwalk across from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, covers about 5.2 acres and has existing permits that allow for its extension further into the Atlantic Ocean. The pier was constructed in 1897, originally hosting a theater before it grew into a carnival with rides and other attractions.
Announcement that the Neshaminy Mall is going to be demolished later this year, early next year. Developers have not put forth plans for the space. The Anchor stores will remain - those being the movie theatres, Boscov’s and Barnes & Noble. Remaining tenants must vacate by 10/31.

Based on online searches Ive done, there’s no record of closing as noted in October of 2025. Perhaps if there was documentation attached it could be verified.
Entering and exiting the complex through the mall is next to impossible, as the mall has very few stores remaining open. Best bet for entry is from outside. That’s good as since this “mall” will be closed soon, it can still continue to operate.
Laser projection & sound were great. Just the amount of trailers and commercials was maddening. Published start time 11am, Nicole Kidman shows up at 11:20, then 5 more minutes of bizarre coke commercials before the movie actually starts.
• The number of all-new seats in the theater will be reduced from 260 to 185 or so.
• The Clay will present more than 500 film screenings each year — with “best-in-class digital and 35mm projection” — plus another 100 talks and other performances.
• Films will be first and second run, with preview screenings, premieres and talks with actors and directors. Also on the bill: book launches and community events.
• A new screen will be moved forward to accommodate a green room backstage for visiting artists.
• The lobby will be reconfigured to make room for a cafe with concessions, small plates and wine and beer — plus books and merchandise. New restrooms will be built upstairs, accessible via stairs or a lift, and a small balcony will be added with a dozen additional seats.
• All historic elements of the Clay, including its marquee and neon blade, will be restored under the supervision of historic preservation architects from Page & Turnbull. Soundproofing will be enhanced.
so looks like seating will be less than 200.

Netflix closed this theatre back on June 8th for more renovations. Hopefully the screen gets an upgrade. No word on if the all important seating capacity will change.

Checking their website and Apple Maps, there is no Arby’s there any longer. That area is taken over by a Skyline Chili and Chipolte.
