Located close to Ottawa International Airport in the Windsor Park Village district to the south of Ottawa. On May 15, 1970, 20th Century Theatres opened this drive-in with The Beatles in “Let It Be”.

It was later taken over by Famous Players. On June 22nd, 1979 a third screen was added. It closed at the end of the 1997 season.

It is now the site of Park and Fly, a parking field for the airport.

I’ve uploaded a photo showing the old concession stand (now gone).

Nothing I saw online states this.
Where did the date of 9/4/1997 come from?

Correction: The Airport Drive-In closed on Canadian Labor Day 1997, which is September 1, 1997, and not September 4. There is a notice on the showtimes section of the Ottawa Citizen saying that the theater will be “temporarily closing after Labor Day”.
