I wonder if the owners were Henry and Gene Cartwright who were from Las Vegas, NV. They owned Las Vegas Cinema Inc., which ran a circuit of 19 adult theatres around the country?
I never could understand why National Amusements even opened it. They had the Maumee location on the site of the old Maumee Drive-in which was about 2 miles away. So they sold the theaters to Rave to pay off some debt. You knew that the Maumee location was going to close because it was the oldest. Reason…too many screens in the area and people are leaving the area, for better things!!
Andrea..Thanks for update on the road change.The problem with the Goggle Map it does not recognize that address. If it was a good street address it would point to the correct location. Do you have the correct street address for the DI?

Uploaded Goggle Earth 1989. With all the land out there, they had to build right there the drive-in was at. Maybe the business was not very good.

I was wondering, has anybody talked to the Chakeres people and see if they have any old pictures of there drive-ins?
