AMC finally got the door stickers updated on the entrance doors and above the poster frames. still waiting for a new sign. I do hope that like carmike the keep that neon backer and put the AMC logo on that.
Imax VR is basically an arcade setup where Imax partners to make games for the HTC Vive vr headset. it off the shelf tech nut it’s expensive to buy currently so IMAX decided they would get exclusive games for the unit that auto end after a set time. It’s basically an arcade you buy tickets in advance for. some of the games are not film linked like IMAX getting an exclusive mission for Star Trek: Bridge Crew “Rescue at Perseph” they have a list on IMAX’s website. the Regal E-Walk Stadium 13 also has an install currently.

Space stage should be a former name and the operator should be listed as Walt Disney Parks and Resorts.
the current image for the theater shows the Epcot version of the Magic eye theater that is the line start post at the Imagination building at Disney world.
while playing “Magic Journeys” the theater was named Fantasyland Theater and according to disney it still is but the outside showes the current film attraction instend of the theater name. the operator should be “Walt Disney Parks and Resorts”
now downgraded to AMC Seattle 10 https://www.amctheatres.com/movie-theatres/seattle-tacoma/amc-seattle-10
AMC has removed this location from the dine in brand.
not really as this location has reserved seating and most movie goers use online ticketing now.the few theaters who still have them just swapped them to always maving the message to call them or visit there site for showtimes. AMC is just straight out replacing the old marquees with new AMC neon signs with the gold circle background under it.
now amc has it under the “AMC Classic brand. it’s current name is AMC Classic Springfield 1 https://www.amctheatres.com/movie-theatres/nashville-tn/amc-classic-springfield-1
AMC has the advantage of actually working on full theater rehabilitation currently. New vision is basically the Carmike management who didn’t move to AMC restarting digiplex. Regal only seems to be doing single auditorium remodels to add RPX to locations.

hopefully one of these two get installed during the upgrade cycle that should be coming soon in 2018 or 2019.
AMC is working to get all locations LEED complient or Energy star rated. the last remodel i was in had the paper towels replaced with the Dyson hand driers and signs explaining how the new restrooms were greener.

Ovation was the only brand that Carmike had the abilty to expand without extra royalties like the Bogart’s or was blocked by contract terms as was the case with Sundance as Sundance Group sold the theaters under that condition. the setup of both the Sundance locations and the movico locations caused AMC to create an express version of the dine in brand as both lack normal dine in setups.
Rstewart I agree if they have to pick one to renovate first the Allentown 16 should be the first to get gutted and refit to the “AMC amazing” spec. Center Valley is in better shape just due to it not being an carmike by build.
