This theatre is owned by Carmike Cinemas, I went up there not long ago to replace an intermitten movement in a Norelco fp20. Left to go to hell by Carmike, it is still is a preety place.

AMC Classic announced that “Black Panther” will be the final feature as the theatre closes March 15, 2018.
Article on the closing apparently AMC had put some work in to it before shutting it down. https://smokeybarn.com/springfield-movie-theater-closing-after-nearly-a-century-of-operation/ Hopefully someone like new vision theaters will pick it up.
Vacant.
