The last remaining resident was moved out of the now former(degrazetted) town of Wittenoom earlier this year, and the remainder of what survived of the former town was removed and buried in a big hole in the ground. Unknown if anything will will happen to the former town site after the cleanup is finished?

Name changed to Bendigo Cinemas in 1997 and 5 screens added. This drive-in theatre was built above an old coal mine.
The mechanics has closed down. This site is now for sale.
The screen and bio box have been demolished. The fencing in still there.
Reopened 3 weeks after closure under new management (unknown who?) as a bargain cinema, but closed again on 12th December 1997.
