The Eric Lincoln Plaza Twin at the Lincoln Plaza Mall opened its doors on June 25, 1976 with both auditoriums opening five days apart with each other. Screen 1 opened with Oliver Reed in “The Great Scout & Cathouse Thursday”, while Screen 2 opened five days later with Clint Eastwood in “The Outlaw Josie Wales”.
The Eric Lincoln Plaza Twin continued to operate under the United Artists banner until its closure on December 17, 1992 with Eddie Murphy in “The Distinguished Gentleman” & Steven Seagal in “Under Seige”. Closure was due to United Artists opening their Oxford Valley Theatre nearby.
