According to the Newry Reporter, in the early years of cinema in Warrenpoint there were film shows in the Town Hall at 3pm, 7pm and 8pm daily. The Kine Year Book (1927 and 1928 editions) lists the Town Hall, proprietor M. Doran, resident manager J. Carr. There’s no sign of it in the 1929 edition or in the early-1930’s. The building now provides a venue for arts and community groups.
