The Crystal Theater opened in 1911 in a commercial building at the corner of Albina Street & Killingsworth Street in Portland, OR. The first manager was Frank A. Gumm, according to an article in the Daily Journal newspaper. The article stated that opening day was set for August 16, 1911.
The theater is mentioned in advertising as late as 1922. At some point the theater closed, and the space was converted to commercial use. In 2023 it is a florist & plant’s store and a tattoo parlor.
