Located in Langholm. Dunfries-Shire. The Central Cinema operated in a room within the left-hand side of the Eskdale Hotel, an 18th Century coaching inn. The Central Cinema was opened around 1929. By 1944 it was operated by Robert Hughes. It had closed by 1947. In recent years the room had been in use as a bar within the hotel.
