Located in Lockerbie, Dunfries and Galloway. The Rex Cinema was opened in 1932 and was operated by George Green. It had a 31ft wide proscenium. It was equipped with a Western Electric(WE) sound system.
The Rex Cinema was closed by 1985 when it was operating as a bingo club. In recent years it has been converted into a restaurant, in 2016 known as Chilli Hut’s.
