Damage From Bomb

Located in the Columbia Heights district of the city. This theater was built in 1926 by Arthur Gluek of the Gluek Brewery family. The 500-seats theatre was designed in an Italian Renaissance style exterior and a Beaux Arts interior. It was restored in the late-1990’s. It has a 4 manual 16 ranks Wurlitzer theater organ built in 1929 and initially installed in the Nicollet Hotel, then later tranfered to Radio Station WCCO.

The Heights Theatre is equipped with 35mm reel to reel and 70mm projection as well as digital.
