Opened as a twin on 24thnJuly 1970 on both screens with “Paint your wagon” and “True grit”.

Opened on 17th July 1970 with “A man named horse” and “Daddy’s gone a-haunting”.

The Peninsula Drive opened on July 17th, 1970, and its second screen a week later. Grand opening ads posted. One screen had shown adult movies year-round.

List of Owners for this theater. Locally Owned 1973-1980 Cinemette Corporation of America 1980-1988 Cinema World 1988-1994 Carmike Cinemas 1994-1995 It was then locally owned again until its closure in 2001

The theater opened in 1973 and closed down in 2001. The land was used as a Flea Market for a short time afterwards before the theater became abandoned for a few years. It was demolished by 2004 and the Tom Ridge Environmental Center finished construction and opened in 2006.
