This theatre was the second theatre to open in the Harrisburg Mall. (The AMC East 5 has its own page on Cinema Treasures). The Great Escape Harrisburg Mall 14 opened on November 9, 2007. It was equipped with digital sound and picture, 3D and is well maintained. It was closed by Regal Entertainment Group in July 2021. It was demolished in March 2024.

This theatre has struggled since its opening.
In January 2012 the landlord filed a lawsuit seeking One Million Dollars in back rent and to keep Great Escapes from removing its equipment.

Now that Regal took it over, the theater should be in much better hands.

This multiplex was designed for Great Escape by the architectural firm Paradigm Design.
The Harrisburg Mall as landlord has once again filed a lawsuit for back rent…. this time seeking 557k in unpaid rent which has not been paid since the pandemic hit.

According to published reports the Harrisburg Mall has received a demolition permit to take down the 14 screen theatre along with two former anchor stores.
Opened as the 2nd cinema complex in the mall on November 9th, 2007. Grand opening ad posted. Demolished in March 2024.
