The New Liberty Theatre was operating prior to 1941 (when in that year’s edition of Film Daily Yearbook it was listed as (Closed). It was still listed as (Closed) in 1943, the owners were Redwood Theatres Inc.
By 1950, it had reopened as the Liberty Theatre, again operated by the Redwood Theatres chain.
