Judging from historical photographs of the State Homefolks Nickelodeon it is apparent that this was a purpose built cinema that dated back to at least 1910.
Designed in attractive Mission styling the facade consisted of dark brick with a gently arched stained glass centerpiece window, flanked by smaller arched windows, and a multiple arched roofline.
Exact operating dates are not yet established at this time, but it is known that the theatre was completely remodelled into Wilson’s Bakery by the time the Hornbeck Theatre was constructed next door.
Today the site is a vacant lot.
