Queen's Picture Theatre

Located in the southeast Manchester district of Longsite. The Queen’s Picture Theatre was opened in 1914. All seating was on a single sloping floor. It was closed on 21st March 1961 with James Mason in “Journey to the Centre of the Earth”.

The building, together with a whole stretch of this east side of Stockport Road near the junction with Slade Lane has been demolished and redeveloped with shops.
