Palace Gardens Drive-In was opened on June 22, 1950 with Fred Astaire in “Second Chorus”. It was operated by Helen Kerzan and her husband John. John was a structural steel fitter and he designed and built the theater.
Palace Gardens Drive-In is still operating, under the management of Kerzan’s granddaughter. They now have digital projection. They are open Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend operating on Friday, Saturday and Sunday showing second run films (mostly family movies). Kids under 12 still get in free!!!

No website. No Facebook page. No digital projector. Put this drive-in on the endangered list.
