The Gorden Theatre was open by 1940 with seating listed at 500. The Gorden Theatre was a couple blocks to the south of the larger DeSoto Theatre. By 1950 this theatre was operated by Lam Amusement Co. Inc.
The theatre closed in 1954 and has since been repurposed for retail.

It seems to me in the 1990s this place was a restaurant. I remember eating there and the lady at the cash register said this was the Gordon Theater and had a picture of it when I was the theater.
