A theatre on Pittsburgh’s South Side district of Carson, Conn’s Apollo Theatre was open at least from 1920-22. By the 1980’s the property was occupied by a furniture warehouse.

It must have been a small theater, unless the Carnegie Library was built after the theater was razed. I don’t think that’s the case. At present 2215 is a small park on a bend at East Carson where traffic heads to the Birmingham Bridge.
Renewing link.
My grandparents owned this theatre and the four surrounding buildings on Carson St, between street numbers 2219-2222. Would like to know more about the old Apollo on the South Side if anyone has input. Thank you!
I think this address is wrong.
A platte map from 1916 shows the building at 2216-2220 labeled simply “Theatre” (owned by J.M. Neuenhagen). This is the present Perlora Furniture store and definitely looks like it could have been a theater at one time.
After looking at the street view I agree that the Apollo was in the even numbered block and is still standing.
