The Rama Theater opened on March 22, 1962. It was damaged by a fire on April 25, 1979 and remained closed which repairs/refurbishment were carried out. It reopened in Fall of 1979.

The building was turned into medical offices several years ago. It is now called the RAMA Medical Building.
The 850-seat Rama Theater opened on March 22, 1962.
Once operated by Litchfield Theatres, later by United Artists.
The Rama Theatre did close for a while throughout late-1978 and early-1979 until April 24, 1979, when a midnight fire (leading to April 25) gutted the theater. It was rebuilt that same year, reopening during the Fall of 1979.
