Listed in the 1926 and 1951 Film Daily Yearbooks. Last operated by the Aldon Theater Corp. chain.
On February 5, 1954, this vacant theatre was the victim of arson. A firefighter died during the firefighting. I am not sure if the building was totally destroyed by the fire.
The address became home to the Union County Dance Centre. In 2016 the upstairs was being used as artists studios and there was retail use downstairs.

Appears to me that a typo was made. The date above should be 1954. That makes more sense.

The bldg still stands. It’s now Artist Studios upstairs, and stores on ground level. It has a, supposedly, haunted past… and present.
