This theatre also screened the World premiere of the movie “Annie get your gun”(1950) with Betty Hutton. Betty Hutton wasn’t invited to the World premiere i believe? This theatre has it’s own page on Wikipedia.
Opened on 23/5/1952 with a cartoon(The Anvil chrous girl), “Champagne for two” and “Crosswinds”. 500 cars. The motel is still(open), with the snack bar(and playground and ramps and bio box and screen fountaion?) still standing, the rest of the drive-in has been demolished.

The site is now a hotel(Comfort Inns) and a pub and restuarant(Legends). There may still be grass left on the rest of the site(Green Acres, lol!!)!!?
