Bob, you have the right date. Premier Cinema did not spend much for the grand opening. I looked at dates before and did not find it.
Showtimes search now reveals that this is now open.

I show the Vali DI open as the late 1970’s onwards and Paul’s DI from the late 1940’s to the late 1970’s.
I show it being owned by AMC, which sold it out in the early 1990’s to Carmike (1992 I think)
