I heard Regal has DTS X according to DTS.com What theatres in New York CIty has it.
The theatre box office was relocated to level 1 of the movie theatre. The original marquee is no longer their and the orignal box office was sold to the Hotel Conrad. I posted photos of the theatre taken in 2003 and the present. The theatre now has recliners and the business is up on the weekend now.

Regal doses not offer RPX at this location. They probadly didn’t install it due to low attendance. Regal does not offer expanded concessions at this site.
Unfortunately, this theatre dose not offer reduced prices before Noon. Doesn’t REGAL know that they have competition with the 19th Street, Village VII, Village East and Chelsea that offer discounts before noon.
Also, those theatres have recliners. Union Square still has those uncomfortable UA seats when it open in 1999.
The sad part REGAL dosen’t do like AMC, Cineapolis and CIty Cinemas with reduced prices before NOON in Manhattan. Regal doses give reduced before NOON prices at E-Walk, guess they have to compete with the AMC Empire.
The theatre is very good. Don’t know if this RPX has Atmos. Does anyone know if it has Dolby 7.1 or just Dolby 5.1

I saw Unplanned Today and I was the only patron in the theatre.

Just posted a few photos of the theatre taken a couple a weeks ago. Regal didn’t give any advance advertisement of this grand opening, not like Lynbrook last Summer. When I see my first picture sometime soon, I’ll post some from inside the complex. Expect to go here on a regular basis, since it has recliners.
Stay away from this theatre, ushers and security guard dosen’t care about the patrons reading the credits. The usher put on the flood lights in theatre 5. The usher and the security guard very rude. A customer was looking for something they lost, instead of waiting for the end credits to end, they could do it know. I even flip the switch to turn the flood lights off, the secuity guard came and he didn’t he give a crap.
It was a group 17 that came in looking for the seats after the trailers started and rushing to leave and one patron lost something. Instead of waiting until the credits are over, they needed to find it fast to get on their rented charter bus.
I’ve complained to Regal a number of times, but the GM at Sheepshead Bay dosen’t care about the people that want to stay for the end of the film. Other Regal establishments in Manhattan are run a lot better.
Thease ushers need to visit Alamo Drafthouse and see a real movie theatre is run. Ufortately, Cold Pursuit wasn’t playing in Downtown Brooklyn. That my prefered movie theatre in Brooklyn, followed the Nitehawk Propsect Park.

The theatres are nice, theatre 6 the sighlines are poor. Theatres 1 and 2 look the best and theatre 5 has 4 long rows, close to the screen (That was the pavilion ad on theatre before it closed). I posted some photos of the auditoriums. When in theatres 4 and 6, the bathrooms are a couple of flights downstairs.
This theatre needs reserve seating, people are fighting over seats. When pictures playdate with the Alamo, the Alamo Downtown Brooklyn is the better movie theatre.
Does anyone know the capacity of each auditorium. I know the IMAX is 654 and Screen 1 is 215. My movie was in IMAX and the IMAX screen looks like RPX or Dolby Cinema.
This theatre reminds me of the AMC Loews 34th Street and AMC Loews Kiips Bay before renovations. Still got the Loews brand inside.
I’ll post a picture of the IMAX screen when I get home next week.

Just added photos of the Loews Auditorium now know as Dolby Cinema at AMC. Theatre has 297 seats based on the ushers timetable.
IMAX refreshment stand under renovation for about a month. If you buy refreshments you have to use the main stand on the 2nd Floor.
Dolby Cinema (LOEWS) opening within the next two weeks according to Lincoln Square employees
I heard rumors that Century 21 is closing and the Alamo taking over the 3rd floor with 7 more screens
The two largest screens 12 and 13 are not reserved seating. THE RPX theatre did not get the Regal Buttkicking Recliners.
