Opened on June 17, 2018. Although almost the height of a 10 story building the theater has only four floors. 12 of the theaters seat between 60 to 100; the RPX screen seats 160. Six of the auditoriums are on the first floor with the balance on the second. The remaining two floors house the projectors and other equipment.
The 80,000 square foot facility is built on the site of the former almost century old UA Lynbrook 6 (Lynbrook Theatre). The cost is $21 million.

Any opening day reports?
To Robert Boehm Newsday.com reported that the Lynbrook 13 cost $30 million
fred1, I went by the original release for the cost. The original opening date was deferred more than 6 months. May have been cost overruns.
That were my thinking too.
Hilarious how they had to build around that Greek restaurant. Obviously the structure the restaurant occupies was integrated into the building that housed the entrance to the old Lynbrook Theater that was truly a Grand place. I haven’t been inside this new theater but from the look of it, it’s a sad replacement for the old one. The lack of architectural imagination in this theater’s exterior is really disheartening. I have to assume the interior is just as uninspired (and uninspiring).
Total seats 1296
Grand opening ad posted.
This huge complex has fewer seats than the old theater it replaced.
The new building has no on-premises parking lot, surprising for a suburban movie theater. Patrons can use municipal parking lots located across Merrick Rd. or use theater’s valet parking.
that bern like that when it was a quad. It was annoying looking for parking
