Dromana Drive-in Theatre is the first drive-in theatre in the World to install charging points for electric cars to plug into, while watching the movies.
Opened on 11th April 1968 on the west screen with “The ghastly ones” and “Psycho mama” and on the east screen with “Smith”, “The incredible journey” and “The devil’s brigade”.
Built on the site of a former butter factory. The cinema building also has a ten pin bowling centre,food venues, and possibly also a hotel(?). Opened on 16th December 2021 at 12.01am with “Spider-Man: No way home”.
Opened on 30th June 1949 with “Down to Earth”.
Also known as Arc Theatre.
Some of the seats in this cinema may have come from the State Newsreel Theatrette in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia!?

Now used for concerts. Australian singer Kate Miller-Heidke performed here on 9th July 2022(her concert sold out!!)!!
