UA Hayward Automovies

A twin screen drive-in located on Hesperian Boulevard in-between the cities of Union City and Hayward, it was a great place for exploitation and occasional adult fare. It was opened prior to 1970, operated by United California Theatres. Taken over by United Artists on May 29, 1970. In later years, it instituted a triple-bill policy with admission at $1.50 per carload.

Closed in the 1980’s, the property sat vacant for years until it was finally demolished and now a Pepsi bottling plant sits in its place.
