The carpark behind La Porchetta and Sofia may part of the drive-in ramps, and the road between La Porchetta and Sofia may the exit road from the drive-in, and the lights in the carpark may the lights from the drive-in, possibly also the fence along side the carpark(along the nursery road side).

Correction – that part of Whitehorse Road is also called Maroondah Highway. The former Pizza Hut building is now called La Porchetta(Italian restaurant)–(93 Maroondah Highway), and the Former sizzler building is now Sofia Croydon(pasta and pizza restaurant)–(99 Maroondah Highway). There was also a Mcdonalds(101 Maroondah Highway) located on the eastern side of the entrance road(now Nursery Roas?), the Mcdonalds is still there.

The drive-in scenes in the movie Grease were filmed at the Pickwick drive-in, not the Studio Drive-in.

There has been attempts to get the Windsor Cinema heritage listed by the Art Deco Society of Western Australia, but so far unsuccessful(i think?).

The inside of the Royal Theatre is intact inside on the top floor behind the facade.
The Shenton Theatre may have opened in 1934 judging by the date on the top of the facade at the front of the Nic(a food and drink bar).
The chemist(pharmacy) is Shenton Pharmacy.
Koorda Drive-in may have the oldest operating drive-in(or film?) projector in Western Australia?
Looking at Google earth, it looks like the Galaxy Drive-in hold about 150 cars.

The shop on the corner is called Chutney Mary’s(an Indian restaurant), diagonally the Radio station(Nova 93.7) on the north east corner.

The Ticket Box is still there,(possibly extened?) used to hold two lions, and two tigers.
