Blue Loon

Opened in 1994, the Blue Loon was a combination of a movie theater, live concert venue, nightclub and grill and bills itself as "the cultural epicenter of Fairbanks". The Blue Loon screened a mix of independent, art and mainstream Hollywood features. On May 16, 2020 the Blue Loon was badly damaged by a fire. It was hoped that renovations can be carried out, but it was demolished.
