After a much longer time closed than anticipated, they were about to reopen last March, until Covid hit. The theater’s been done for a while, they just can’t do anything until everything opens up again.

The theater has been renovated and the name has been changed to 3Below Theaters and Lounge. Got changed to a blend of events and film. Occasionally show first run independent films, but not nearly as much as they used to.
Cinelux took over the theater when it reopened.
Tragic to see this place close down after only being open for a few years. Knew many people that loved going here. I hope it’ll be reopened quickly.

D’Place is an abysmal operator of this theater. The projector and screen aren’t lined up at all, the facility is run down.

Beautiful theater, pity it was finished right as Covid hit. A new favorite in the area for me.
It’s reopened as the Cinelux Gilroy, recliners in 5 out of the 7 theaters. They’ve also added in a lounge area.

Cinelux recently underwent a remodel to up the screen count to 8, which it sorely needed.
Sad, the theater itself was good, but the mall was in complete disrepair by the time it closed down. Went there quite a lot before I moved.

It is no longer going to be a movie theater, and it hasn’t been an IMAX theater for quite some time.
