WEBSTER CITY, IA — Wrote off only a year ago, the Webster Theater reopened last month to fanfare following a dedicated push by locals and an investment of $200,000. Other downtown theaters are coming back too like the Coos Bay Egyptian and the Spencer Tivoli thanks to their importance in saving their main streets.
