Check out this slideshow in the Huffington Post that highlights ten restored theaters around the U.S.

Very pleased that a Philadelphia area cinema, the County (not the “Old County”) in Doylestown, PA is included!
They don’t give any clue whatsoever as to what criteria they used to compile their list.
Personal bias ;)
I agree with the above posts, what criteria did they use to make their choices? I don’t think they’ve checked out all the theatres that were restored in the U.S.
Also, why aren’t interior photos of the theatres shown.
it is their list. Anybody who doesn’t agree with it can feel free to type in their own favorites, right here!
I didn’t see that the article said they were the 10 most beautiful. It just says they have pictures of 10 beautiful old theaters.
Obviously they didn’t go to every theatre in the US. If they did they would have included the beautifully restored Orpheum in Los Angeles.

The Huffinginton Post did say:
“DID WE FORGET ONE? SEND US YOUR PHOTOS?”
Messed that up, should be:
The Huffington Post did say:
“DID WE FORGET ONE? SEND US YOUR FAVORITE!
HAVE A FAVORITE OLD THEATER? SEND US YOUR PHOTOS!"
How I wish there was a Boston-area theatre on this list!
Let’s mention a Boston area theater! Coolidge Corner is beautiful & is still a daily moviehouse.
