This theatre is located in the Argentine neighborhood of Kansas City, Kansas. Until recently it was painted a dull yellow and some of the stucco exterior was damaged revealing brick, the box office and windows covered in paper. As of November 2004 the Park has a new coat of deep red paint and the paper covering the windows has been removed. Perhaps this theatre is about to be reborn?

In 1923-24, this house was operating as the Pershing Theatre, managed by Fred Meyn. Mr. Meyn wrote a letter to distributor Film Classics praising the Warner Brothers movies they distributed, which had been very popular at his theater. The letter was published in an ad for Film Classics in the January 19, 1924, issue of The Reel Journal.
