Vox Theatre

Opened December 20, 1922 as the Rosedale Theatre–seating 250, it was a silent movie house. It later was reopened August 21, 1940 as a talking picture house under a new name-Vox Theatre.

The Rosedale Theatre was originally owned by T.L. Ricksecker and cost $30,000 to construct.

The structure was sold in the early-1960’s and became a heating and cooling business. The building was remodeled in 2009 and now operates as an events venue.

Among the architectural features remaining the structure are the full pressed tin ceiling, portions of the balcony and projection room, and authentic stage valence complete with theatre lighting and velvet curtains.
