Middletown Drive In Marquee

The Middletown Drive-In was a twin screen drive-in that was opened July 16, 1947 with Janet Blair in “Tars and Spars” & “Renegades”. By 1957 it was operated by Liggett-Florin Booking Service. It closed in 1999. It had a capacity for 300 cars. It has been demolished and a large hotel now sits on the site.

As of 2016 the concession stand has been demolished with only the foundation remaining and the second screen may still be standing. Ramps are also still there.

A 2018 Google street view shows the second screen still standing and the entire property overgrown.
