Opened on June 28, 1991 as the 1,000-seat Super Cinemas 8 - Biggs Center. It was taken over as a second run theatre by DanBarry Dollar $aver Cinemas on November 22, 2002, after Super Savers went under. It closed in 2014.
Renovations were carried out and it reopened November 20, 2015 as Eastgate Brew & View. It was closed in early-January 2018. It reopened on June 21, 2019 with 850-seats, renamed RJ Cinema Distillery and Taproom.

This opened on June 28th, 1991, as Super Cinemas 8 - Biggs Center as Cincinnati’s most luxurious theatre. It was reopened by Danbarry Dollar Saver-Eastgate on November 22nd, 2002 and closed in 2014 ending its discount policy. It started its dine-in era as the Brew & View by Esquire theatres on November 15th, 2015 and closed in January 2018. Reopened as the RJ Cinema Distillery & Taproom 8 on June 24th, 2019. Grand opening ads posted.
