Amuse U Theatre

This theater was open by 1914-15, when it is listed in the AMPD. It was located in the southern storefront of a large three story brick commercial building. This was constructed sometime between 1886 and 1891, and the portion at 32 had been a harness shop through at least 1909.

The theater conversion included an extension of the rear to the alley. This theater was still operational in 1923, but does not appear in the 1926 Yearbook.

The building today is in excellent shape, and the theater space is used by a gallery.
