Located in the Spandau district, in the northwest of the city. The Spandauer Lichtspiele was opened in 1910. In 1920 it operated as the Decla-Lichtspiele until 1925. There then seems to be a period of time it was unused. It reopened in 1943 as the Havel-Lichtspiele which closed in 1955.

Architect Heinz Kroh was brought in to redesign the cinema and it reopened later in 1955 as the Aladin-Filmtheater. It had 770-seats, including 125-seats in the balcony level. It was closed in 1967 and went over to being used as a supermarket, which closed in 1995.

In 1996 it was converted into a 5-screen Cineplex Cinema.
